The 荣誉 生活 学习 Community brings together talented, highly motivated students to live, 学习, 成长, 并实现.
The 荣誉有限责任公司 was a great group of people who wanted to get to know each other. 加入有限责任公司, it was easier to find friends with people you’re living with, which makes your living experience more enjoyable. I found my best friends through the 荣誉有限责任公司. It’s also nice because when you’re signing up for honors classes, I could talk to other people in the LLC and find out what they were taking—we wound up taking the same classes and seeing each other again and again.
节目+活动
Students in the 荣誉有限责任公司 gather frequently for movie and game nights, 社区餐, 实地考察等. They also have special access to 荣誉 faculty and staff, who hold advising hours and host pizza nights just for LLC students, 在布里奇曼.
生活
The 荣誉有限责任公司 occupies the second floor of 布里奇曼大厅 在上校区. The LLC is the community hub of the University 荣誉 Program, where students who live on the same floor take classes together, 分享新的兴趣, 学习 from each other and make new connections. Students in the LLC join a welcoming, supportive community of students from a wide variety of majors and backgrounds.
LLC students also gain leadership opportunities: the LLC holds a spot on 荣誉 Council, the faculty and student advisory board for the 荣誉 Program. The 荣誉 Student Steering Committee, which plans events and programming for 荣誉, also holds its bi-weekly meetings in 布里奇曼大厅, so meetings are particularly convenient for LLC members.
学习
The 荣誉 community 成长s in the classroom, where our students share perspectives with each other in our small, discussion-oriented seminars and labs. 荣誉有限责任公司 students all take HNRS 100, our first-year seminar, and meet each other and other 荣誉 students in all of their 荣誉 courses. 荣誉 offers about 40 courses just for 荣誉 students every semester. One of the great things about the 荣誉有限责任公司 is that the students were from all different majors, but we had one connecting factor, 获得荣誉. This helped us to become friends even though we had different interests. I feel like this helps broaden your own interests and knowledge, and encourages you to explore other things rather than staying in one narrow lane.

The LLC is supported by two LLC RAs, who are experienced honors students, as well as by faculty/staff sponsor Dr. 希瑟·菲尔丁 and the LLC liaison officer from our student org, the 荣誉 Student Steering Committee.
